Our Process
1
Inspection
Our knowledgeable retired groomer will assess blades for wear, discoloration, rust, and cutting issues to determine if they need servicing.

Calibration
Check and adjust blade springs to ensure proper cutting performance and minimize friction, keeping blades cool and running longer.

Examination
Inspect and align socket "ears" and base, ensuring it is not worn out or loose. Replace if necessary to prevent noise and vibration.

Sharpening
Sharpen the comb and cutter using a precision wheel, making multiple passes if needed, until the rails are perfectly sharpened.

Demagnetization
Remove burrs from the comb and cutter by demagnetizing to prevent damage to the sharpened surfaces.

Deep Cleaning
Scrub blades in a degreasing solution and use high-pressure air to dry them completely, preventing rust.

Reassembly
Apply starter oil to comb rails, reassemble blade parts, and align the cutter for perfect assembly.
8
Final Testing & Oiling
Perform a string clip test to ensure cutting ability. Optionally, apply full 5-point oiling before returning the freshly cleaned and sharpened blades in a complimentary blade box.

Yes we do guarantee the work we do and give you seven days to let us know if there is a problem. Let us know right away of any problems and we will correct the issue right away.
We inspect each blade to insure the blade is capable of being serviced. The two main issues we find with blades are those that have been sharpened poorly or have been sharpened beyond the rails. In these cases the blades may not be worth servicing and we will let you know. In some cases a piece that can be repaired is damaged, like a bad cutter or spring, and in these cases we will inform you of the options we have available to repair the blade back to pristine working condition.
The most common repair need we come across is a cutter with broken or damaged teeth, these are usually ceramic type blades. Just because your cutter has been damaged doesn’t mean it’s trash. In many cases we can simply replace the cutter blade with either a new ceramic or metal cutter and your blade will run like new. We can also replace other pieces like the springs and sockets if they have been worn out by a poor blade drive, this can reduce vibrations that cause hand fatigue when using the blades on a clipper.
We take pride in our process to insure the life and quality of your blades. First we inspect the blades, checking the calibrations and rails, as well as overall condition of the blade. We then take apart and sharpen the comb and cutter portions of the blades. After the sharpening process we give your blades a deep clean to get off any built up debris. The blades are then dried, oiled and reassembled. After a final inspection to insure cut quality and calibration, the blades are returned to you ready to go like new.
We are available any day if you call or text us for an appointment. Our busiest days are usually Tuesday through Thursday as most shops sharpen on slower grooming days.
This will completely depend on the number of blades you need sharpened. If you are sharpening on your work day and concerned about not having your blades available during the time they are in service we have you covered with our house blades. Just let us know what you need and we will supply you with blades to use while your blades are being completed.
We take credit cards, PayPal, Cashapp and cash. At this time we do not take Zelle or checks.
